Request to Speak (RTS) System
The Arizona Legislature's Request to Speak (RTS) system gives residents a direct way to participate in the lawmaking process. RTS allows you to publicly register your position on specific bills, support or oppose legislation, and submit written comments that become part of the official legislative record. It is one of the most accessible tools available for citizens who want transparency, accountability, and public consent in decisions that affect Arizona's environment, health, and future.
How Do I Use the RTS System?
Voice your position in 3 easy steps:
- 1Register and login to RTS
- 2Click on Request to Speak
- 3Click "My Bill Positions"
Then simply search for the bill by number and choose Yes or No for each bill. (Best viewed on desktop.)
